What to focus on during your last week of preparation for the Written PCE.
We received the following question over the weekend and thought it would be great to share with our wider community.
“What do you recommend focusing on for the final week of prep for the Written PCE?”
What a great question!
We would recommend being specific with your studying. This means focusing on practice questions during your final week of study.
You want to mimic the exam environment - sit down and practice a set of questions under a time constraint. This can help ease anxiety and will help better prepare you for what to expect / help keep you calm and boost your confidence on exam day!
It’s so important to give your mind and body time to rest and recharge. Continue your favourite exercise/go for a walk/spend time out in nature and I personally find meditation helpful to reduce stress and to help me focus.
Most importantly - trust that you have revised the material over the past few weeks/months. You need to understand that last minute cramming will have a negative impact on your exam performance and it is more important to get a good nights sleep the night before your exam!
